The SD2SP2 is the ultimate device that plugs into the serial port 2 on the bottom of the Gamecube and allows you to do a many things via the built-in microSD slot!

There are two variations of the SD2SP2, one that lets you hide the device under the console's port cover and the PRO version offered here that allows access to the microSD slot from the side of the console, in case you need or want to access your microSD card often.

The main advantage of the SD2SP2 PRO device is that it plays backups directly from the microSD card, saving wear and tear on your game discs. To interface your GameCube with the SD2SP2 PRO you will need, at least, a soft mod to run the supplied SWISS software CD that allows you to read and run files on the microSD card.
