This adapter lets you connect 60-pin Famicom™ cartridges to NES and compatible 72-pin consoles. Please note that the American NES NTSC consoles and the Japanese NES NTSC-J consoles have compatible frequencies (60Hz), while this is not the case for the PAL console (50Hz), so some Japanese cartridges may not work properly and would require to press the reset button few times until the game plays. The Hyperkin Retron series and similar consoles (i.e. Retro-bit Super Retro Trio) reproduce Japanese cartridges perfectly with this adapter.
